Project Background
Founded in 2002, Isagenix is a multi-level health and wellness marketing company that sells dietary supplements and personal care products. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020, Isagenix needed a platform to host and manage online live events for their members for product launches, business seminars, and general seminars regarding company practices.
Through Cornerstone, EKKO Media personalized the Cornerstone Evolve platform for Isagenix. Cornerstone Evolve is an online live broadcasting and video hosting platform created by EKKO Media. The platform called for intuitive navigation and ease of connectivity among event members and event speakers/trainers. The Cornerstone Evolve platform allows administrators to quickly design interactive events and host limitless live streams with no coding required.
The Isagenix Story
Based in Gilbert, Arizona and founded by husband and wife, Jim and Kathy Coover, this wellness company has helped countless families reshape their financial future and regain a healthier outlook on life. With an emphasis on health and wellness, Isagenix has helped people to not only eat, move, and look better, they’ve helped people feel better. Their methods have earned Isagenix high marks with over two dozen awards for both business, health, and ethics. Isagenix was recognized on the Inc. 5000 list as one of the fastest-growing private companies in America for 11 consecutive years.
The Platform
Isagenix needed an online event space for their members and trainers to easily share information and queries in a streamlined manner through live events and live chat, with readily available resources. The goal was to personalize the already existing Cornerstone Evolve platform for Isagenix to streamline the development and feel of online hosted events. EKKO Media tailored the platform for Isagenix to deliver high energy and interactive events in an online space. As well as present an easy course of action for collecting member and trainer feedback, as well as gathering analytic data to help track the success of the event.
Defining The User Experience
The Isagenix event had a multitude of features and content areas that our design team needed to take into consideration. The live event site needed to accommodate countless members and trainers simultaneously. The Homepage provided a way for members to jump into live content in an easy to understand structure. Additionally, to help Isagenix trainers reinforce the live stream lessons in smaller groups or even one on one consultations, EKKO Media need to design smooth transitions to keep the event moving. Through the Cornerstone Evolve platform, developed by EKKO MEDIA, we were able to not only meet Isagenix needs but exceed them. Core Functionality & Features
Live Broadcasts
Cornerstone’s Evolve platform, live broadcasting of any of Isagenix’s virtual events is the largest and most significant hurdle in showcasing product launches, general sessions, business seminars, etc (tips, tools). The Cornerstone Evolve platform’s Live Broadcasting is implemented through different service providers (like Vimeo), YouTube, or custom integration utilizing AWS services. It can support an infinite amount of attendees all at the same time.
Videos on Demand
With so much to see and to do at Expo Partner Hall, it’s hard to keep up. If members missed something they were expecting to attend, videos will be available to view starting from the Event’s first day or they may download slides from each session if the speaker has allowed us to share them. Videos on Demand not only retains recordings of previous sessions but also allows for the storage of pre-recorded content such as interviews and behind-the-scenes.
Live Chat
Isagenix members are able to chat with the trainers/speakers and moderators simultaneously during the live virtual events. With Cornerstone’s Evolve platform, Live chat is achieved through any third-party with Live Chat integration to elevate the crowd experience and build a more intimate rapport between members and trainers/speakers.
Quizzes/Surveys
Create interactive quizzes or surveys to gauge members' engagement, test their knowledge and vital topics, and as a resource tool to collect valuable data on what attendees want to see next year.
Social Media Integration
With the Cornerstone Evolve platform, Isagenix’s members are encouraged to engage with the site along with Isagenix’s social media through Social Media Integration. It increases brand reach and engagement to ultimately help build a bigger audience. The Evolve platform and social media integration work together seamlessly to help promote brand interaction while boosting traffic to social media accounts.
Project Outcome
Not surprisingly, the website has received numerous awards for design, user experience (UX) and user interface (UI). The awards are nice, but the real reward has been the growing popularity and reputation of the brand.
